Another brand and model-specific identifier are some models of Dell laptop charger lights. Some Dell laptops have charger lights that light up when it’s connected to AC power source.

If you find that the charger light goes off immediately when plugged in and your laptop doesn’t turn on at all, it’s very likely that you have a motherboard issue. We’ve found that this is a common phenomenon with Dell laptops with motherboard failures, just from our experience. We don’t exactly know why this happens, some things are truly out of man’s reach. 🤷
